Google Play considers the application built into OnePlus 3 / 3T as malware

November Last Year, OnePlus updated smartphones 3 and 3T to Android 8.0 Oreo, which brought not only new features, but also new bugs. The manufacturer quickly corrected them and released in December the Oxygen OS update for these models. Bugs really did not become, but there was a new problem. The Google Play Protection tool has determined that the factory-built FactoryMode application (formerly EngineerMode, used to test the device at the factory and support services) is dangerous. Google Play offers users to remove it, and they can do it, although this can later prevent them from repairing the device. Previously, a vulnerability was found in EngineerMode that allowed root access, but OnePlus claims to have closed it. What's the problem with FactoryMode now, it's not known.
